I don't necessarily have any favorites but I will say that many Heavy Metal album covers from the mid 80's to the mid 90's, the Funk and Psychedelic LP artwork of the 70's and 90% of Death Metal album covers are some of the most creative I have seen.

I also like the Sunn O))) Rehearsals cover - it looks like Odilon Redon, whose artwork was used on some Magazine record covers, which were great also.

One of my favourites as well. The inner gatefold pic is great too. I tore the LP open when I was younger and had both halves hanging on my wall along with; Babe Ruth, Blodwyn Pig, Atomic Rooster, Wishbone Ash, Captain Beefheart, Camel, Hawkwind, and no less than a dozen other classic covers. Good thing I had spare copies!
