I got 2 that are probably odd to a lot of you.

    Speaker placement:
When I sit in my stereo room and listen to music, my listening chair is placed next to the left speaker , with it beside my right ear. The right speaker is across the room and is picked up primarily by my left ear. So I am hearing the left speaker in my right ear and the right speaker in my left ear, with little combined sound going in either ear.

Double album side listening order is usually 1,4,2,3, on old vinyl releases:
Any of you who are in my age range, also have lots of double vinyl from the days of being made to stack on record changer spindles. Many of those albums were made with sides 1 & 4 on one disc and 2 & 3 on another. That way if you put them on a stacker, they would play side 1 then side 2......then you would lift those 2 discs off and flip them on to the spindle and they would then play sides 3 and then side 4. I have mostly always played my old double vinyl albums in the listening order of 1,4,2,3 so as not to have to pull albums out of jackets and sleeves any more than necessary.............New double albums, and triple etc, have the sides labeled sequentially.

So those are two quirks that I have done for most of my listening life.

That's the way I normally play them too. Some times I only play one record of a two record set.
