Sounds decent enough, even though I don't have a first pressing to compare it with. My copy has slightly different labels (different rim text, STEREO on the left), but matrix numbers are the same. -

Bonjour , pouvez vous m'aider j'ai acheté ce matin en brocante , un vinyle de Ten Years After , Watt , 1970, Chrisalis (Ariola , Benelux bv Harlem ) no 51-1085 , je ne trouve trouve absolument rien , que faire ??? -
The disc itself seems thinner and more flexible than what I'm used to.
I love the poster included. The artwork is nice, but the dialogue on the border is excellent. -

What an album, what a sound!
I changed many copies for this album, but this is a lovely pressing. -

There are those who are going to infer that Watt had many of the same ingredients as its predecessors, particularly Cricklewood Green, where to that I’d say that Ten Years After were a very influential though musically limited band who rolled out a continuous run of stoner blues-rock where any song from any album could be inserted anywhere within their catalog and it would seem to make sense.
Ten Years After were not a high art band, they were forever just what they were, a working man’s blues band laced with lightning fretboard work, never aspiring to be anything more and happy to own the land they walked on. The album art still suggest that what’s wrapped in this jacket has been lysergically blessed for psychedelic listening, though not for the most part, as the opening track “I’m Coming Home” is a compulsive rocker, featuring a band willing to flex their collective musical muscle, taking full advantage of studio gimmicks … echos, overlays and fading, all of which will feed your appetite for what Ten Years After do best.
The atmosphere in this album's music is entirely electric, managing to capture a period of time that will never be duplicated, though often feels comfortably outdated today. From “I'm Coming On” to “She Lies In The Morning” you're transported to the mythical realm of drug induced euphoria where the band toured so much during this time frame, one can almost feel a weariness when it comes to the recording studio, as Ten Years After were a live band from start to finish, leaving me to suggest that they could have retained their aura had they never released a single formal album; their cosmic stoned atmosphere was so enthralling that the listener is jolted back to earth nearly out of breath as the record hits the runout groove.
While Watt may not be another "A Space In Time" or "Cricklewood Green" this album has the feel of Alvin Lee and his band chugging along in their usual British boogie style. It's hard to compare the studio side of the band with the actual live animal, there just isn't the energy drawn from a close crowd. Yet having said that, it's still a mighty fine piece of work and should be judged on its own merits.
*** The Fun Facts: As to the album’s title, a watt is the SI unit of power, equivalent to one joule per second, corresponding to the power in an electric circuit in which the potential difference is one volt and the current one ampere … or, when an object’s velocity is held constant at one meter per second against a constant opposing force of one newton, the rate at which work is done is equal to one watt.

I have a promotion copy of this LP but I don't believe it to be a Canadian record, and definitely not the French Promo or German Promo based on their cover or matrix etchings. I wondering if there are other regions but just not listed?
