I have a minimum order value of just £3.50, any less than that it just isn't worthwhile with all the other fixed costs involved with sending things these days, sorry. I have many items for sale so if your order is currently below that limit please consider just combining it with something else and you'll then be able to check out and pay.

I normally expect payment within 3 days of placing the order. After this, I will assume you wish to cancel the transaction if payment is not made and we have not agreed a later payment schedule. Talk to me in these circumstances, I'm not unreasonable and if it's possible and makes sense for me to be flexible on this I'll make the effort to be so. Please understand though that personal circumstances can limit my ability to provide a full service on every single day of the year.

Please note that I consider features such as tab indents or signs that a disc has been wiped with a soft cloth as minor defects. So if such things do bother you and the condition is given as less than Mint, please me prior to placing your order to ascertain whether or not the item is likely to meet your expectations. I am willing to make extra checks so long as you request them before you place an order.

Also due to the, sometimes brutal, nature of the postal systems around the world, and even though I replace broken and cracked jewel cases before wrapping and take extra precautions to protect all CDs using extra packaging, in common with most other sellers of CDs, it is impossible to guarantee that all jewel cases will be in perfect condition on arrival. Generally, these are designed to protect the CDs, are generic and replaceable, at low cost.

Since the Discogs 'automated shipping algorithm' is not configurable enough to cover all occurrences, I can sometimes authorise lower shipping rates for shipping, on a case by case basis. Such circumstances might include you having purchased from me before and/or have an extensive track record of successfully buying items on this site or multiple/very large orders for items above standard size. Please me if you wish to discuss this, prior to placing an order.

I usually use Royal Mail for standard size large letters and parcels, both within the UK and overseas.

Note that the prices include many extra costs involved with sending an item to you, as opposed to keeping it stored safely in my collection. So, it's not just postage costs, and now Discogs also takes a chunk of it for themselves (and do not it all on to sellers anymore), so naturally those prices do now have to be considerably higher than what is quoted at a Post Office counter, just to cover all those costs. I do try to keep them at the minimum possible, just so as not to lose out too much on sending things, and I certainly never knowingly make any profit from shipping on this site.

The default, for run of the mill CDs, is standard shipping/wrapping which should be calculated as follows:

Second Class Large Letter: Untracked within United Kingdom
International Standard Large Letter: Untracked to the rest of Europe except Italy where a tracked service is the default for all orders due to past experience with the postal service there
International Standard Large Letter: Untracked to the United States of America
International Standard Large Letter: Untracked to Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Papua New Guinea and a few other south Pacific islands
International Standard Large Letter: Untracked to most of the rest of the world except Brazil where a tracked service is the default for all orders due to past experience with the postal service there

You should usually be able to select enhanced services (using the drop down menu in the shopping cart), at your expense, on all orders, after you add items to your shopping cart but before you check out and pay.

On more expensive items the default is already an enhanced service, I may be willing to negotiate on that depending on your history of buying from me or from this site in general. Once again communication before placing an order is key if this is your preference or expectation.

Please note that, there are size and weight limits that have to be met in order to ship at the low rates provided here. If you have even greater requirements for the way that I wrap, please let me know, before placing your order because there could be cost implications which I would expect you to cover.

I will do my best to accommodate most reasonable requests regarding shipping, so long as I am informed, at the very latest, before you make any payment and preferably sooner than that.

After you receive the item I am happy to provide positive ; I expect you to indicate that you are happy with the order by leaving such first.

As with just about all sellers on this site, and as per Paypal selling , I do accept returns. However, I generally expect you to pay the return shipping costs, at least, and, unless you can convince me I've been negligent, most likely the costs of having shipped it to you too. I accept that not everyone is going to love all the music that they expect to when they are ordering, however, please be aware that this site is not designed to be a lending library for any of our whims, in this respect.
