Sound Station is a physical record store with a website and an ever-increasing amount of platforms on which we participate. We do try to please both our customers, families and friends – which is why we offer the best possible service we can, within quite more than normal shop opening hours in Denmark.

All communication must be in English/Danish. Please do not use the rating system to communicate about an issue with your order. Please read the section on damaged/lost or missing items carefully. Make sure you've read the Buyer & Seller FAQ. We always do our best to help you out, with any issue that might arise. We believe in excellent, friendly communication above all. If you've already made an order, the quickest and best way to us will always be on the order timeline. Giving us a rating is off course not mandatory, but we would be delighted if you chose to give us a "thumps up" after a hopefully, very positive experience :).

Q: How do I order from your Discogs store?
A: If you're brand new to Discogs, please read the guide on How To Buy Music On Discogs.

Please note on ordering:
We may not be actively monitoring our internet facilities between 2PM Friday - 8AM Monday CET (Weekend hours). Similarly, please be patient during holidays - We always take care of your orders as soon as we possibly can.

Orders go out: Tuesday and Friday afternoon CET. In case of a national holiday, we ship the following Tuesday/Friday.

Q: How much is shipping?
A: Buyer pays all shipping costs! When adding items from out store, shipping costs are automatically calculated in your shopping cart at the top of the page. You can continuously check, edit or update your cart accordingly. Therefore: All extra shipping payments will be calculated immediately before you're ready to pay. Shipping costs are determined by weight (number of-, or type of items), buyer destination and tracked vs. standard shipping.

Q: Can I choose ed shipping?
A: Yes, simply ask us for alternate shipping when placing the order in the "instructions for Soundstation.dk" textbox, in the cart - ed shipping comes with a small surcharge. ed shipping is mandatory for high value items/orders.

Q: Can I pickup my items locally?
A: Yes, just choose local pickup at our store in the shipping drop down menu. We may need a day or two to transport the item(s) since; All of our Discogs items are stored in an external warehouse, and not at our [email protected] regarding any item in our inventory so we can fetch it to you. We'll let you know when it's ready. We're always happy to chat with you about it, and you can off course play test the record in-store.

Please note on shipping:
We only ship to the address present on your profile, unless otherwise specified! Please let us know if you need your order to be shipped to an alternate address, or have special requirements for marking your package.

We only ship Mypack Collect to addresses in Denmark. Your order will by default be shipped to the nearest Postnord pick up facility. If you prefer a specific pick up point, just let us know.

Approximate shipping duration:
• Delivery in Denmark: 2 - 3 working days from the day of shipment
• Delivery in Europe: 5 - 20 working days from the day of shipment
• Delivery overseas: 6 - 21 working days from the day of shipment

Q: My order was damaged, or has not arrived in a timely manner. What do I do?
A: Please let us know by ing us directly on your order timeline so we can solve it as quickly as possible. Please do not use the rating system for this purpose! It is our firm policy to always reimburse, replace or refund - no questions asked, for missing, lost or damaged items. We take these matters extremely seriously. And with lost items, often with the remark that you can pay us back if/when the order eventually arrives :).

Q: Do I get a tracking link with my order?
A: We do not provide tracking on PostNord economy shipping due to cost. In Scandinavia, when shipping with Postnord to your home address - We will provide you with a direct link on the order timeline. For mandatory or chosen ed shipping, tracking info will likewise be provided on the order timeline as the item(s) leave our warehouse according to the times described in the order section.

Please note on how we grade items:
All grading corresponds to the Discogs grading standard which is based on the “Goldmine” grading guide. For more information visit the article: Discogs Grading Guide.

We think Discogs grading guide is a bit rough, therefore we like to add descriptions or comments such as: “Close to Near Mint/Excellent” & “Nice upper VG+”, or more plain specific media or packaging descriptions. Crucially we would like to stress that grading is not an exact science. With our 30+ years of experience; grading records and CD's, we like to think that we have a good idea about how other people generally grade their records based on the Goldmine standard. With that in mind, we additionally err on the side of caution - that is to say, if we at all doubt the grade of an item be it "Good", "Mint" or anything in between: If it doesn't fit the grade exemplarily it will be bumped down with the added remark that it's on the upper end of that particular grade.

Cut-out holes, drill holes or saw cuts automatically lowers the grading to VG+ from a potential NM/M. This is not the case with promo stickers or “Gold Promo” markings. This should always be specified in the item comment.

Q: I disagree with your grading of my item, what can we do about that?
A: We always strive to give correct and accurate item descriptions and gradings - however, we are human and can make errors. If you feel like there's a discrepancy between our grading and your expectation just us on the timeline. And make sure to carefully read the goldmine grading guide as well as the item description (if present) if you're unsure.

Additional important, miscellaneous requests or questions:
Q: I think I received the wrong release/item. Are you sure you're always selling the exact items?
A: We always try our very best to find and locate the exact release ID, that corresponds with the item in hand - sometimes this can be difficult, or even impossible: This is especially true with sealed items that doesn't have any markings to differentiate on the packaging. Since the database is generated by the s of Discogs it is not perfect and crucially, it is not complete. In the event that you're looking for a very specific item with special prints, matrices, hidden tracks, extras etc. (and the item is not sealed), please ask! Less than 0.1% of our nearly 100K inventory gets mislabelled. But if you have received a wrong item, rest assured that it was a mistake and we will help you return, refund, replace or otherwise fix it!

Q: Do you offer discounts?
A: We don't normally offer discounts as we already like to price ourselves competitively on the marketplace. For really large orders and/or long distance shipping, we may be able to provide you with a more appropriate shipping fee by splitting into more packages for instance, or packaging without jewelcases.

Q: My local postal service is especially rough to my packages, can you accommodate this?
A: Yes! We always post CDs in secure, hard cardboard packaging. Records are likewise packaged in purpose-built hard cardboard containers and always shipped outside of their covers. We will happily open factory sealed product(s) in order to prevent seam splits. Even then, jewelcases can be prone to damage like cracks or lost hinges - If you experience severe handling of your packages by your local post we will happily provide you with excess card packaging - we do not charge extra for packaging unless it bumps you up into a more expensive weight bracket if at all relevant.
