Thanks so much for visiting my store! Please read the following before you place your order, as you must 'agree' to the following before the order is placed.

ORDERING RULES (MUST READ FOR ALL BUYERS):

1) PLEASE have your proper shipping address on Discogs before ordering. This is VERY important. If I'm shipping 50 orders per week and one order has the proper address in the comments instead of the Buyer's Profile, then it's going to get lost in the tedious, repetitive labeling process.
2) ALL orders will include the correct customs valuation. Please tell me beforehand if you need a specific amount declared, otherwise, the parcel will be declared 'as is'.
This is from the Discogs Sales and Transaction Policy:
"Sellers are responsible for including correct shipping information on all packages, including clear and correct address and customs declarations (where required). Sellers are responsible for fines or penalties related to incorrect customs declarations."
As such, I will provide NO RETURNS OR REFUNDS for items that the buyers refuse on customs charges.
3) DO NOT ask me to redirect orders via email or PM. I will only grant exceptions to this rule for in-person sales here in the Lower Mainland. Fee Avoidance is a policy Discogs takes very seriously, and I can get banned for it.
4) PLEASE communicate with me before leaving negative . See "Returns and Refunds" for more information.
5) PLEASE allow extra delivery time due to cross-border transit from Canada via proxy-shipping services.
6) YOU know, deep in your heart, what a fair price to pay for any item is. Offers are encouraged, but please submit what you *know* is a fair price.
7) With exception to items worth more than 40$USD in retail value *or* if my product description lists the item as a release variant, absolutely NO pictures of any item will be sent before an order is placed. If you want an item in my store but need a picture to it, please place the order and then don’t pay, but politely request pictures first. When the pictures of the item the condition or edition (as 99% of the time they do), then please follow through on the purchase.
This an unfortunate but necessary rule to implement due to the fact that 98% of people who ask for pictures over PM do not reply. Sorry, but I do not have unlimited time and my inventory is over 13,500 items!

I also collect 78 rpm shellac records: International Folk, International Classical and Global/Vernacular discs are desired. Priority to bowed strings, plucked strings, reeds/bagpipes and rare countries. Regions include Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asian, Chinese, Indian folk&classical, Pre-WWII Caribbean, Cuban, Brazilian, Andean, Hillbilly, Irish, Greek, Cape Breton Fiddling, Hawaiian, Pacific, and Blues.

SHIPPING METHODS:
DOMESTIC (Canada)
Vinyl LPs and 78s are shipped via ChitChats. This is a service that allows Canadians access to cheaper rates than Canada Post, all the while providing customers with FULL tracking. The ETA after the item leaves the ChitChats warehouse is 2 to 12 business days – the tracking link will tell you all you need to know.
HELPFUL TIP: Domestic vinyl orders BARELY increase based on bulk. 16$USD sends 1 record to Newfoundland, 23$USD sends 15 records to Newfoundland. , when shipping vinyl domestically, BULK IS BETTER.

CDs, Cassettes and 45s are sent via Canada Post Lettermail (Untracked) due to the conveniently cheap rate, unless otherwise specified. If you live within Canada and need tracking on your CD, Cassette or 45, please let me know beforehand – however, the price increases considerably (9$+ usually). The other contingency with Lettermail is that the MAXIMUM HEIGHT is 2cm, which means no more than 2 jewel cases can be sent per Letter. I can fit 8 CDs without Jewel Cases at the Lettermail rate - if you order multiple CDs and need the jewel cases, please let me know and I'll invoice you according to Regular or Expedited Parcel rates. Similarly, large double-jewel box cases must be decased in their entirety to be sent Lettermail. CDs sent Lettermail almost NEVER go missing, but they do sometimes take a bit of time.

UNITED STATES
Items shipped to the USA usually take 1-3 weeks ETA after the once-weekly dispatch. For orders to the USA, I use a company called DYKPost, which trucks the packages across the Canadian border and forwards them via USPS Media Mail. This means that EVERY package shipped to the United States will include a tracking number and live updates. I live a 40 minute drive away from DYKPost so I can only afford to ship non-domestic packages once per week. Thanks for your understanding and patience!

INTERNATIONAL
Similarly, for all international orders, I use DYKPost to transfer the package to FIMS, or Fedex International Mail Service, which is a tracked, albeit economical mail provider that ships parcels internationally. The major benefit to this service is that it ships to almost every single country worldwide at the same rate. It is supplied by the Swedish Post service, so do not fret when you see ‘Sweden’ on your tracking, it is just the way the labelling system works. However, for packages to be transferred from DYKPost to FIMS to abroad can take some time, usually 3 to 7 weeks ETA from the day the item is shipped. If you are an international customer, please wait for the 7 week period before ing me about potentially lost shipments.
Note: ChitChats, while usually used for domestic orders, also supplies international orders and may be used interchangeably with FIMS for some specific items to Western Europe (especially 78rpm records).
***FOR CD CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF CANADA AND THE USA** Please note that the 11$USD tracked rate is for packages under 113grams. If your CD is over 113 grams it will be subject to either jewel case removal, or an additional surcharge of 5$USD (the LP rate of 16$, which is 114 grams to 454 grams). It is HIGHLY recommended that you choose the jewel case removal, as jewel cases can be procured for less than 1$ on the receiving end, ultimately saving you a minimum of 4$USD.

78 RPM RECORDS:
78s are packaged professionally and properly, strictly in accordance with this guide:

Due to the parcel size and packing material needed for 78s, the prices will be higher. If you are ordering a 78rpm record, please click the ‘78’ option on the drop-down menu at checkout, do NOT use any other option. Due to the infuriating inaccuracy of the Discogs shipping calculator, the 19$ 78rpm rate might be inexact, especially when ordering multiple 78s. Overages will be refunded, underpayments will be politely requested to be rectified.

All vinyl records are cleaned with VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning Machine before shipping, but 78s are generally left to the buyer, because every 78 collector seems to have their own preference regarding the necessity and procedure of record cleaning.

RETURNS and REFUNDS
As my seller's rating indicates, it is VERY RARE that something with your order will go wrong (all my negative s are in relation to lost items where the buyer refused tracking in lieu of saving money and then lost their item). However, in the case something goes wrong, please read the following:

RETURNS are generally NOT ACCEPTED because the shipping service does not allow for an easy return to Canada, it sends it to a mailbox in Montana. This will only be reconsidered in cases of highly expensive items, or receiving the wrong item (like another customers).

REFUNDS are issued IN FULL for the following cases: Broken or nonfunctional items (skipping records, skipping CDs, fractured vinyl, warps causing jumps or skips). Misgrades by more than a single order of magnitude (ie calling a VG+ a G+).

REFUNDS are issued IN PART for the following cases: 1) Lost items. In this case, the item cost is refunded, the shipping is not. 2) Misgrades by one single order of magnitude (ie calling a VG+ a VG), in this case a % of both shipping and item cost is refunded.

PLEASE communicate with me if there is a problem with your item. With proof of damage or misgrades (pictures or videos), I'll always issue a refund within 24 hours. I am not a scammer, and I will always rectify mistakes if they happen.
