All opened albums are vacuum cleaned before listening and grading. I have listened to or sampled every record that I have listed for sale (play graded, no visual grading only; I have heard surface noise that is not visible upon bright light inspection). I try to grade conservatively, but the process is subjective, so if you wish, we can review your expectations and the condition of the record and cover before you purchase. I do not typically grade inner sleeves or comment about the condition of inner sleeves - if this is important to you, please me. The highest grade I give for an album (media and cover) is NM, unless the album is sealed - even if the opened album appears Mint. I rarely grade opened album covers NM - it appears that other sellers do not grade this conservatively.
SHIPPING: I will usually ship within 24 hours to your PayPal address. I promptly respond to emails (EST). Records and inner sleeves are removed from their covers and the records and covers are wrapped in bubble wrap and sandwiched between cardboard stiffeners, which are then taped.
Within USA (12" double album = 2 records, 3 album releases = 3 records, etc.)
• Media Mail: $6.58 for orders up to 2 albums or 1 double album; $0.70 for each additional record (e.g., 3 record album) or additional album.
Outside USA: The costs of shipping outside the US seem unreasonable, but if you are interested, please me for a quote.
• Item weight, including packaging, should be less than 4 pounds to keeps shipping costs "reasonable". I may require insurance and ship using priority mail on high value orders. All taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Bottomline: me if shipping costs are a concern to you.
MINT/SEALED Albums: If you are dissatisfied with a sealed album and wish to return it, the refunded amount will reflect the market value of an unsealed album. If you wish me to unseal an album, email me to discuss options.
