Excellent follow-up to "Uncertain Future". By 1991, Forced Entry was set to be the "next big thing" but record company problems, which had also contributed to both this album not selling that many copies and the band not being able to tour behind it, and the then-soon-to-be breakthrough of grunge (to which the genre was ironically birthed in their hometown of Seattle) cut their ascent short. Despite this, the music videos for "Macrocosm, Microcosm" and "Never A Know, But The No" got played on MTV Headbangers Ball, the latter of which featured cameos by none other than some of the guys from Alice In Chains, who were coming off the success of "Man In The Box".
I personally think that if "As Above, So Below" had come out in at least before 1990 and "Uncertain Future" had come out around 1986 or 1987, Forced Entry would have at least gotten the attention/recognition they deserved, especially for their unique blend of thrash, prog metal and punk. -
One of my most wanted on vinyl - hopefully a good pressing will happen soon, but I'm not holding my breath!
