This is the definitive version of this album to get, they are the only pressings to include when the tigers break free. And top notch sound
-
I love this release!! Dynamically superior to the original. One of my favorite Floyd albums finally done right! And the sealer for me is the addition of When the Tigers Broke Free...Fucking love that song!!!

Edited one year agoAlright…going on the final cut #4 first one has many crackles and pops everywhere, second one skips on the first song. Now the third one is even more crackly than the first even after two wet cleans….The quality control on new vinyls is just atrocious and this album above any other NEEDS to be quiet
-
Pressing is just ok. The dynamics are good, but it still has some slight noise here and there. Ultrasonic cleaning reduced noise a great deal but did not eliminate it. This recording demands and deserves a dead quite pressing. This ain't it.
-
Bought this new and it was gouged and scratched straight out of the packaging...some of the modern/new presses really P me off. High dollars for crap quality control
-
Edited one year agoThis for me, is the best of the new remastered. Sounds powerfull, Rich, and has a great pressing. Is a great deep bass festival all the record and has a good stereo image. Another must, and the ultimate ending on a higth note from Waters to the band.

My copy has an annoying tick. Brand new record. Cleaned well. Still a tick. Modern vinyl can really suck. Of all records, this one needs to be quiet. The lack of quality control on modern vinyl really pisses me off. Do better.

Sounds really fantastic. Got it for pretty cheap and it was well worth the money. Super dynamic, and the remaster sounds incredible
