Trent leaves his personal reflective lyrics and adopts a new perspective, giving his outlook on the world and the omens that may or may not have effect on the future. From politics, war, the destruction of nature and the supernatural, Trent begins what would be a starting point for a new era of Nine Inch Nails material. The songs are pure pop beauty set to the ugliness of machines going wrong and the decay of organic settings. A lot of great tracks. The album drags a little during the middle, but starts with a bang and goes out with a bang. Not Trent's Best, But not his worst either. A Great piece! 4.5/5
