Pressing is distorted and lacking in highs. Exposed aggressively by any system that's slightly above average. Disappointing, given the brilliance of the music.

Sound & packaging are crisp & clear, but I think the intended audio & mood flow of this album suffer from being split into a double LP. I wonder if it could have sounded just as good on a single vinyl so the tracks don’t get interrupted 3 times, it would be just once. Otherwise a fantastic album and vinyl.

the album is fantastic, but at least my copy was insanely noisy, tons of pops and skips too. By far the worst sounding vinyl i have, which is an absolute shame given the beautiful presentation and amazing album

Edited 2 years agoBetter than anything big sister (or little sister?) has ever done. The quality I thought was good too though it did come pretty warped but I flattened the discs with the vinyl flat (don’t try it with expensive vinyl). Didn’t like the labels though because it doesn’t show the songs or even the back cover because it’s not clear what’s on each side. Not sure why they don’t just keep these things simple.

From a music standpoint, this is a fantastic album. I had forgotten how much I enjoyed the skits in between the songs.
In of the album itself, it was ok. I did notice a few pops on multiple sides. I also wish the side labels were a bit larger, for the sake of my eyesight. -
the mastering in this is fantastic! a little heavy in bass but nothing is drowned out. sadly the first vinyl has a bit of a warp, doesn’t really affect the sound but it’s noticeable when it’s on the platter

I think it sounds good overall, bass is a little too loud, and some songs can get a little too noisy. Sadly, my copy came a little off-centered on both discs. I believe this does not affect the sound on this case.

This album has everything - voice, arrangements, production, mastering, brilliant songs with real meaning. By modern day standards, especially in this genre, it stands out for dynamic range, no compression, no autotuning, this production would grace any era, a masterpiece.
