    It's difficult to know how many were pressed intially, but rumors of a couple of hundred seem to jibe with legends about this one. A falling out with the proprietor of Cynus Records led to her destroying a large swath of the ones she held in her posession, and, as such, of the couple of hundred originally pressed only about 50 are estimated to remain in existence. This guessimate is probably based on the esimated number that had already been sold or given away byt that point, so ff course, none of these numbers can be verified, but it is the best information available. Ryan Richardson (Ryebread Rodeo shoppe, BreakMyFace archivist, and Existential Vacuum Records founder) has done the most research, and even he as many questions, I suppose. See his write-up here:

    While the DICKS and BIG BOYS debut 7"s seem to balloon in price each time they come up for sale, they tend to come up for sale far more often than this here record. The latest price jump seems to suggest that folks are beginning to notice its scarcity.
