Up to here had always been my favourite Hip album. Sure it doesn’t reach the soaring levels of songwriting on Phantom Power and it doesn’t pack the punch of Road Apples, but there’s a sense about this album that this is a bar band destined for greatness. Prior to hearing this pressing my only complaint was the production, but from what I can hear, it seems like this has been mastered differently from the digital version I’ve heard for so many years. There seems to be better dynamic range, clearer vocals, and less muddy instrumentation.

This Music Vaultz pressing of Up To Here is very good. I was not sure what to expect but I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the pressing. Quiet vinyl and the mastering is excellent. It is similar to Road Apples audio quality by Music Vaultz. I have no comparisons but I am very happy with this pressing. The music is excellent.

Someone correct the run-outs please.
This is not the MOV pressing. And I think it should be merged with the other 2016 Musicvaultz release. -
Why another reissue of these readily available Hip records? Why not 'Day For Night' or 'Trouble at the Henhouse'? I want those desperately.
