I only recently found out that this single got to number 5 in the Billboard Dance chart in 1990, just before Nine Inch Nail's 'Head Like a Hole' and Ministry's 'Jesus Built my Hotrod' smashed into the mainstream and changed everything. Just a year later, both 'Family Man' and 'I Give to You' were recategorised as Alternative and hit 21 and 27 respectively.
