nice .. another sealed gatefold reissue ruined by deep, long audible scratches as clicking and crackling every rotation. already had that on both (!) violator copies, bearable in that case, and "only" in the lead in.
in that case, "love in itself" at least on my copy (sealed) is ruined out of the box, clicking for one minute due to a deep lead in scratch pattern going through the track.
pressing plants nowadays are in big trouble producting M, NM, or even VG+ copies .. bad times -
Edited 2 years agoThese Depeche Mode 2016 vinyl remasters get stranger. I originally had this Sony Legacy release but it was warped like many of them. So i finally got around to buying another copy now in 2022. This release doesnt have the Legacy sticker on the front but still shows Sony Music, Legacy and Mute on the back. There are two big differences though. 1) Inside the record is contained in the real inner sleeve. 2) The vinyl cut is entirely different with etching 16350 per the comment below. So they have repressed it with a entirely new pressing. I also purchased Broken Frame and Speak & Spell. They also dont have the Legacy sticker on the front, but do on the back. The vinyls are in the real inner sleeves as well. The vinyl cuts didnt look different on A broken frame, but does on Speak & Spell. Very strange.

Not sure if this is a mistake but the matrix/runouts above match exactly to the MOV release (Depeche Mode - Construction Time Again). Etchings on my pressing (ex. Side A) are simply: 16350 IA 88985330001.
