It was Friday night (10th Sept 1993); my mate's parents had recently finished rebuilding their house and the lucky so and so had gained a massive bedroom complete with excellent sound system, strobe lights and hypnotic painted walls out of it. As cheesey as that may be the sound eminating from his speakers that night certainly wasn't. I was blown away by this performance by the Hartnoll brothers and became an instant convert from heavy metal to techno in seconds from it. This is where my relationship with electronic music started and what an excellent start indeed!
