back in my misguided youth, I had a bit of a 'metal' phase - grown out of it now and sold off all the Crue/White Lion/Dokken etc etc, this one's a keeper though: if you're going to have a mental metal heavy on the histrionics slab of wax in the library, "Eat 'Em Smile" has the outrageous widdly-diddly 'check out my technique' musicianship in absolute bucketloads - served up with a good dose of humour wit and fun, in some actually decent songs (original & cover) sadly lacking in most of the genre!
