"The DJ eases a spliff, from his lyrical lips, and smilingly orders.... " is originally from this LP of dub poetry: Jean Binta Breeze - Tracks

Edited 20 years agoThe Andy Weatherall mix features the sample (famously used in Paul Oakenfold's Goa Mix);
"The DJ eases a spliff, from his lyrical lips, and smilingly orders....CEASE!"
Which comes in halfway through the record, hence the 'Mix of Two Halves' title. It's a slightly mellower mix of the original, and very in line with his Sabres of Paradise material.
