This is inconsistently censored, some tracks are full dirty, some are cut up or skewed. Pac's song is butchered, nigga and bitch were deemed acceptable but fuck, shit and pussy is unacceptable? It's distressing. Still a killer 90s compilation

Edited 3 years agoThis is in my view one of the very finest hip hop soundtracks ever. This soundtrack released in 1996 contains tracks from such legends as 2Pac, Mobb Deep, Ghostface Killer or Aaliyah. This is hip hop at its best. The clear highlights are 2Pac's track "High Till I Die" as well as Mobb Deep's "Back At You" ( fantastic lyrics, great music video, great beats ). Aaliyah's "Are You Alright" is a fantastic track, too. In brief a must have for every serious hip hop music collector. I feel blessed that I was born in the 80s to be able to witness this fantastic period in the history of hip hop myself. This soundtrack is a testament to it. Plus this pressing is easy to find for little money and of high quality. [ Playing this using an Ortofon 2M Black cartridge ]
