The Orb mixes are good, but not as good as you might be expecting, given some of the gushing comments here. They did much better remix work elsewhere around this period, for my money.
B3 'Without Your Clarity I Would Still Be Bound By Gravity (Crystal Clarity Mix)' is the real treasure here - a dubby, Weatherall-esque number that far outshines the other tracks.
Oh, and other than being by the same producer, I don't think either B3 or B4 are particularly similar to Further, Norris's ambient album, despite what you may have heard elsewhere. Further was noodling, slightly new-agey ambient with some light dub touches, whereas these Orb mixes are trippy, dubbed up ambient techno, while Norris's mixes here are far from new agey. A shame they never got a digital release.

Sadly, it is well wort mentioning, that most copies will have suffered from off-gasing if they were kept in their original stickered PVC sleeves. This will appear as an "oily stuck smear" all over the surface, and, yes, you will see it if it's there, but, more importantly, this will destroy the music. Out of several copies, I only have one that isn't affected by this disaster.
..and YES! The Orb mixes are absolutely astounding - Thrash (Orb) opens the gates to the Heavens and basements of Dub in the most awarding way there is - I can find no reason to even listen to the other side cause it only kills the mood of The Dub Gods at play. 93 eternal 🤩

I have from new too, Unmuddied lake - very good. Top drawer deep, Trippy, dubby techno. A tune that Weatherall may very well have dropped... great sub bass

Timings for the Orb remixes are off, not sure where these were pulled from. These are the real timings:

Crystal Clear (Clear, Like An Unmuddied Lake) 7:03
Crystal Clear (The Crystal Clear Water Revival) 7:27

Not huge differences, but differences none the less.

Clear like an unmuddied lake is an absolute masterpiece of ambient acid house (if that's a label) from the Orb. One of my favorite pieces of music, discovered via an Astralwerks ambient comp back in my tender years. This track has been with us for that long, a generation, and it is STILL ahead of its time.
