Being Chisel’s 1st album without the late Steve Prestwich in any form whatsoever, I’m surprised at how good Charley Drayton sounds. I shut my eyes and listen, and I still think that it’s Steve the whole time! Highlights for me include ‘The Mansions’, ‘Mexican Wedding’, ‘All Hell Broke Lucy’, and the title track. Far better songs than most of ‘The Last Wave Of Summer’, just in my opinion.
