Edited 3 years agoThe pressing is relatively quiet. It matters with this kind of music, which is not dynamic, so any surface noise is easier to pick out. . . . This vinyl version is rated lower than some of the CD versions. . . . -
while the sleeve is quite flimsy and makes putting a record away into a hassle, the pressing itself while quiet plays perfectly. just make sure to crank up your sound system -
Excellent music, one of the best albums ever made, but the sleeve on this version is very simple and thin cardboard - and not even gatefold. Sub Pop could make it better, but of course they smell the dollars here (produce as cheap as possible -> win maximum).
