Notes
One Tree Hill was released in both Australia and New Zealand only as the replacement single to In God's Country which was released with the same sleeve in other parts of the world.
Text on back cover:
TO THE MEMORY OF GREG CARROLL 1960-1986
Came with an insert containing the lyrics to One Tree Hill printed on a picture of One Tree Hill (located in Auckland, New Zealand) with this text at the bottom:
(Greg Carroll's Funeral, Wanganui, New Zealand, 10th July 1986)
Track times not listed on the release. All tracks are the album versions from "The Joshua Tree"
Side A: 45RPM Side B: 33RPM.
This release is often mis-described as being New Zealand only when it was released in both NZ and Australia in March 1988.
There was more than one pressing of the single as later pressings came in a plain Island sleeve after the picture sleeve prints were exhausted. it is possible that the first pressing was identical in both countries, but as the demand was greater in NZ, where it went to No.1, the unique sleeve was used.

Fantastic and rare single I came across recently. I think this particular three track selection off the record is wonderful and the songs really come to life. Neat that only Australia/New Zealand got this, the store owner told me the person that traded in this copy of the single received it as a gift from their father who was traveling in New Zealand when it came out.

I had a copy of this for sale. But it's like all the thickos of the world want this and the only question they have is does it have the white or the gold stripe under the logo. Your all trying to get the $300 version for $50. Good luck to you.
