I can't possibly say enough good things about this album. Taking aside how great the music is itself, with beautiful instrumentals, ear-blistering solos, spanning several genres which speaks volumes about Gilmour's talent as an artist, the record itself is fantastic too! Set in a lovely matte sleeve, with inserts showcasing the album's creation, it's a marvellous package. The vinyl is dead silent and mixed wonderfully, far suring digital streaming naturally. Utterly fantastic from Gilmour.

The pressing quality is superb, with a dead-quiet noise floor and crystal-clear dynamics that really let the music breathe, though some sibilance on A boat lies waiting. Instruments feel perfectly placed, with impressive separation and depth. Lyrically reflective and musically adventurous, overall it's an album that brilliantly captures the essence of Gilmour's post-Floyd evolution that culminates, to date, in 2024's Luck and Strange. As a package, the gatefold is superbly produced as is the enclosed booklet.

Great quality recording and pressing, nice sleeve photos etc., but no track inspired me in the slightest, and I didn't even want to listen again to try and muster enthusiasm. He's done it all, some monumentally great stuff in the past, but definitely no longer. Retire David, while you are ahead

Plays absolutely amazing. One of the best sounding records I have on a great flat press. Sturdy jacket of soft matte material and lovely photo/lyric book as well with high-quality images. In my personal opinion excellent album as well.

Don't expect Pink Floyd's Gilmour. For me boring album with few ideas.

Apart of the music (honestly, two singls are Ok) the pressing has trumendous problems with inner groove distortion

It was the Division Bell that opened my 22yr old eyes (many yrs ago now!) having been a Hiphop/RnB man in my late teens. The Division Bell introduced me to Floyd and real rock music and i ditched the kiddie music and grew up and have never looked back. Ive owned/listened to everything by Floyd/Gilmour/Waters. The Gilmour led Floyd and his solo stuff never grabs me initially and has a very MOR feel on the first couple listens. A Momentary Lapse of Reason didnt work for me at all initially but now i love it... anything but the prat Waters solo stuff and the less said about the Final Cut the better! Following on from the wonderful On An Island (which i was hooked on from watching him perform beautifully in its entirety at the Royal Albert Hall) this has a similar feel and similar production values. It didnt grab me at first. Second listen i felt there maybe something. By the fifth listen im convinced he has done a great job. The music is graceful and tasteful and Mr Gilmour keeps it real by not trying to overdo anything or be someone (a younger someone!) else than he is. He is growing old very gracefully and im grateful he has kept making good music along the way. Makes up for the political inspired drivel that comes from RW at least!

This pressing, from Record Industry is a total knock out. Very much expected from them and their in house MOV label too. You may get 1 dud out of 200 at worst.... they are that good, even during Covid they havent let it slip. Optimal take note!!

Nice music from Mr Gilmour, way much better than endless river. Nice package, its like the alt version of on an island.
