Impressive collection documenting all the released material by Krautzone plus a bonus track as a 2CD set. Although quite obviously modern recordings, this is also like a portal to they heyday of Kosmische Berlin Krautock, very early Tangerine Dream, Ash Ra Tempel and Agitation Free are all referenced, but from a different fresh angle. You'll also hear nods to Gila and Guru Guru, with the pazazz of old Ozric Tentacles and more than enough solos and surprises throughout to rival the best contemporary Americans like Eternal Tapestry or Carlton Melton. But why is it so good? You'd never heard of them before? Well, they're a hybrid super-group of musicians from Electric Moon and Zone Six, with most of the musicians switching roles from their usual instrumentation, an idea that happened, came and went, so unless they decide to do it again this is everything they did!
