A love this label lots of great release with a cheeky edge to them & this 12" doesn't disappoint.
Void Part 2 (HQ) & Journeyman A.M. Mix are an epic chilled out journey and quite different to the other releases.
The B side however is more of your 4/4 house groove with both mixes having a very different feel.
"Leill's Rising Mix" has a funky driving percussion loop, with a deep dirty synth loop that builds and weaves into the track, that is built upon layer upon layer lifting the track and giving a really gritty groove, which just sounds great especially on a big system.
"303 Mix" as you would expect is on the acid vibe, which slowly bubbles up and builds throughout the track, again one to play loud.
This is a great quality 12" and if you enjoy this check out the other Beeswax releases - you won't be disappointed. -
Top quality sample alert:
"You know, Dolittle, when we reach the Vale Nebula, we may encounter a strange and beautiful thing... The Phoenix Asteroids, they should ing through there by now."
Dre Pattich (Talby) sampled from Dark Star (1974) -
a mind blowing journey through shards of broken beats and melodic ambience. one of those tracks that will give the chills everytime you hear it.
