If your choices are a scratchy original or this copy, go with this copy. It sounds awesome and you won't be disappointed.

Sounds great. I have no complaints in that regard. But I have a question if anyone has any information. I bought album on Amazon. It's a 2015 remaster. I don't see any indication regarding Chris Bellman, Bernie Grundman, Record Industry etc. The only info, in the runouts are (side 1) 289974E1/A and (side 2) 289974E2/B. The album cover indicates 2015,Warner Music Group Company, Manufactured for and marketed by Rhino Entertainment Company. Made in the USA, R1 547642/081227955250 The label code is identical to this page LC02982
Any comments would be welcome. Anybody else have this experience? -
The most powerful sounding pressing and also the most readily available. The other versions sound sleepy in comparison, and don't bother with a US OG unless it's for (valid) sentimental reasons.
There might be more accurate sounding digital versions, but this vinyl mastering packs the punch this album deserves -

What luck on this one, randomly ordered it a few years back. This thing will beat you to death and ask if you want more. HOT HOT pressing! Chris Bellman killed it! I felt bad for my Hana after plying it, like it was used and a abused!

Awesome. The Best I have heard this Van Halen Debut Album Sound. It's not easy to find thee days as Everybody knows this is the one to have and it never stays in stock anywhere for very long.
-
Super clean and analog sounding for a reissue. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because it is on the bright side in the highs. They are clean highs but I need to back down the treble a couple of notches. Definitely worth the $24.99 at B&N!

I haven’t heard the 2009 version that others rave about but this pressing is friggin awesome. It’s still available brand new for $20-25 USD and it’s worth every penny up to $30-40. Awesome dynamics. Love the power and dynamics of the drums on this press
