Edited 20 years agoOn "Sixth Sense", Josh Wink use a bit the same treatment he used on "Higher State Of Consciousness" and "Are You There": a musical gradation that leads to an acid peak, and then slowly decrease. This time, there are more spoken vocals, courtesy of Ursula Rucker. Her speech is about gravity, the force that keeps our 2 feet on the ground, and how this force can be defied. It's quite interesting, as the track is like a guided tour into the darkness with Rucker as your guide. Can she convince you that we can all really fly? Try the ride!
The Kevin Yost remix is very well done and very different. If you heard "One Starry Night", you will definitely recognize his style. Very moody, it's the kind of track to listen in the summertime on a sunday afternoon. You sometimes get the impression Ursula Rucker is talking to you directly ("What? You forgot how to fly?").
Wink's Dark Dub is my second favourite track on this single. Here, Rucker's vocals are mostly left away, giving priority to a hard House beat that leads to an insane climax!
