When you mention 'The Shamen', most people will immediately think of the awful chart rubbish they put out, like LSI, ebineezer goode, etc....
This LP, and particularly this early version (later versions had different tracks like move any mountain etc), is possibly their finest collection of tunes.
I cannot fault a single track on this release. The variation of the tracks is great, lots of different influences, and the whole thing plays more like the LP's of yesteryear where the album is one continous musical storyline (unlike modern albums which seem to be just a collection of random tracks thrown together).
For the money of a VG+ copy, it is an absolute bargain. Dont expect it to be anything like their chart tunes, this is a much better sound, quite unique and extremely relaxing, interesting, and enjoyable.
