Edited one year agoFantastic live performances from Miles & his stellar band. Intense, frenetic & teetering on the brink of incoherence, this music grabs you by the ears and never lets go. Great boxset; nicely packaged with excellent liner notes and poster. Mastering is excellent on the Fillmore East material but the bonus West tunes, although showing the limitations of the bootleg source is worthy of inclusion due to the sheer quality of the music. Great set for anyone who enjoys Miles' electric period. -
