The band had originally intended for the album title to be "Wings Of Sorrow".
The first pressings had "Wings Of Sorrow" written on the spines (limitations unknown), but because "Welcome My Last Chapter" was written on the cover, everyone thought "Welcome My Last Chapter" was the title.
To avoid further confusion the band decided to officially title the album "Welcome My Last Chapter". Every pressing after the fact has the spines read "Welcome My Last Chapter".

I have this original 1996 particular edition (with "welcome my last capter" on the spine.) This is NOT the russian cheap bootleg! Bought on a french distro back in 1996. Booklet is NM and cd is NM. I am located in , I can ship worldwide. Pictures available on request.If you are interested to buy it, don't hesitate to send me a private message with your offer... Well if you want to buy it for 30€, please, buy the russian bootleg and don't make me waste my time. -

My version has a very little ifpi code 6824 printed under the word "Cd". Which version is it? -
Edited 5 years agoi am not a black metal fan. i am not a regular listener of rock and metal. BUT. this is the only and one masterpiece of black metal in the world, it is beyond deep and moved something in me. It is the best misanthropic black metal album in the world. literally. it is cold, crystal clear and in my opinion also the most melodic black metal album I've ever heard with the best voices, so wintry and full of power. It is just otherworldly. I bought the album in the early years after 2000, and it was quite cheap, in mint condition, for about 15 EUR at amazon, and it now costs about 4xtimes more, it is for sale on amazon for even +200 EUR. When you get a cheaper copy, get it! you will never regret - it is a treasure. -
This is a true black metal masterpiece. It's a shame that it never came out on vinyl, or any other format, but either way, this is one of my favorite releases ever. My favorite track on it is Vinterskogen. I'm sure no one here is stupid, so you can all look on youtube for these tracks. I give this a 5/5 and a 100/100. Amazing release.
