A city pop classic through and through. While Anri and Toshiki Kadomatsu are a duo made in heaven, they really hit their groove with this 3rd time team-up.

Anri really comes into her own here, proving she is a pop diva in her own right, while Toshiki reaches some song writing peaks of his career.

The remake of Cat's Eye is fresh and revitalizing over the anime hit standard, and Tetsuji Hayashi's music paired up with some of Toshiki's finest compositions of the decade make for an unforgettable experience. Jun Sato I see is also in the credits, and Yurie Kokubu makes an appearance, too.

Many people will have their say for which song is the most absolute banger, but for my money it's "Stay By Me" with it's razor perfect funk drop timing and soaring vocals. I dare anyone not to dance when it comes on. It's easy to hear why this was Anri's first album to top the Oricon charts.

Add in the trend-setting vaporwave font, no doubt inspired by the hit 80's TV show "Miami Vice" with a summer retro aesthetic that is unbeatable. Get a copy with the rare calendar with ultimate effect.

so sad most scalpers had a fad of hoarding the whole supply and create an artificial shortages and price increase!!! we all know Citypop had revived it's popularity on recent times... i had one from 1983, the soundwave is very clear and a little bit warm, and the new re-release pressing had punchier bass but the details are not as same as the original

First off, love this album so much!
Not sure if anyone else has experienced this, but my copy of the record sounds flat at times with her voice not having as much warmth and depth compared with the instrumentals.
        Anyone notice something similar?

Wow this pressing slaps. Punchy bass, treble on point. The soundstage is phenomenal! Almost 30 years old and the pressing sounds like it came out this year.

It’s retarded people are asking $100 for this record. It’s very common in japan. I’ve seen so many copies in my lifetime, not just Japan but various Asian countries.

There are 34 copies on sale currently, what does that tell you about its supposed rarity.

This is turning into supreme hybeastin.

please, scalpers. I know the album found a surge of popularity the past couple years, but it isn't worth this much.

Every song slams and the sound is unreal. On a side note if I was starting in a 80s sitcom in Tokyo, a hope from sad street would totally be the theme song.

Been wanting this album for a while, after finally getting my hands on it I gotta say it really is just a fantastic album to vibe to through and through. This pressing is very solid and leaves nothing to be desired as it . I love having it on in the background, and is a great addition to anyone's collection.
