A1 aka Ruined was titled that as they played the track alot before it got released. Which ruined the track for them.

It's fair to say that Suicide Squad were the British equivalent to Nasenbluten, in both cases, three guys experimenting with Hardcore in glorious 8 Bit Shit mono. By far the best track on this record is Ruined, a simple Speedcore tune in design, but really hits hard. The beat boxing sample and head nodding Hip Hop beat is a great start and very useful for mixing out of difficult records. Ruined is essentially constructed from some choice samples of Funkmaster Flex's The Mix Tape Volume 1 (60 Minutes Of Funk) from 1995. The KRS-One sample is taken from his famous freestyle at the end of the mixtape, which has been heavily sampled in Hardcore. The horns come from legendary Hip Hop producer, Mark The 45 King's song, 900 Number. The Puff Daddy sample is from the intro to Side B on the mixtape. But Suicide Squad do a good job of using these samples, similar to what Nasenbluten were doing at the same time. The middle section has some quick breakbeats, dark stabs and a neat little old school riff. Although the definition of Speedcore has changed, I've always thought Ruined was a great Speedcore track from England, getting the shine it deserves on the almighty Industrial Strength. Rest In Peace Chris Marsh.
