I'm truly surprised this album has no comments. Originally a "post/math rock" group focussed on bass guitar, Rothko turned around and created one of the greatest "ambient" albums ever on A Continual Search For Origins. Soft vocals, emotive guitar licks, daylight-evoking-summers-in-the-orchard-on-a-summer's-day field recordings, quiet but evocative melodies and so on and so on. There are many special moments throughout this album and the degree of subtlety and tactfulness displayed by the musicians has to be commended. Of course this is a wonderful album to relax to, but I do recommend that one concentrates on it and basks in its warm, cosy delights. Marvellous.
