I think my version might be a newer version aka repress.....The year says 1987 but the runouts are completely different than anything here. The guy at the record store made it sound like SST just keeps printing these. Anybody know? I just brought a brand new mint version at a record store for not a lot of money so it's not likely original from 1987.

Really great second album by Firehose, my personal favorite. Lots of variety in the song writing, all players are top form here. Mike Watt has some badass songs, some of his best ever work. This album gets a bad wrap thanks to one or two Moronic magazine critics that didn't like it on release.. shame this happened quite a lot in Rock n roll history. Well any True Firehose fan should give it a chance. This SST reissue uses the same plates as the original and sounds Awesome 👍

I just bought a radio promo version. It came with some sheets, and was signed to Mike (I doubt Watt since it was probably sent to radio station). Love this record! I bought it on tape back in 87 or 88 when I was in High School and about wore it out.

I saw them at the Fulham Greyhound approx when this came out. I took my tape recorder and did an interview in their van. I stuck around at the back of the venue when they were soundchecking and recorded it. It's on reel-to-reel (Uher) so it's good quality. I got a bunch of things signed too.
Later that year they played in Brighton and I interviewed them again. Both interviews I think are lost sadly. -
My copy also has a white label with an autograph on one side - I think it's actually a reproduction of an autograph Mike Watt got from John Fogerty - At very least, it appears to read "To Mike, keep on keepin' on - J(illegible) F(illegible)", and the thank yous on the back cover include "John Fogerty (see LP label)", so it'd make sense.

Question for anyone who has a copy of this in their collection: What is on the labels of this record? On my copy one side has a track listing for both sides, but the other side is just white, but is is autographed, but I cannot read the signature. I'm wondering if all the other side labels were white, or if this is different than the others. Thanks!
