I have the 6:39 Promo copy. It's in VG condition with minimal fingerprints. it's not NM because its a smash and has been played but this piece has minimal fingerprints on it. For an almost 40 year old record, my personal classification is near mint.

Groovy Track. Bought this 25 years ago, put it away, only to realize I've been grooving to it on Styles of Beyond's album "MEGADEF".

Has anyone ever seen a non-promo US 12" version? I think I just picked up one and its cover is a bigger version of the cover used on the German 7". Same label as the promo version except for some color variations and no text say promo or not for sale.

Excellent piece of vinyl. Agreed, Ah Oh Ah Version is the one to play. Definitely one for the collection and the promo is one you want. A fantastic cover too if you can find one in decent condition.

I enjoy this SIRE records release , the ah oh ah mix is the best mix of this track in my opinion

I have to smile every time I see the timing for the Single Edit version of the U.S. Promo version released by Sire Records:
              3'65"
You have to wonder about that. More than 60 seconds in a minute? Amazing! <wink> Technically speaking, the timing of this should read 4'05" (but even the album sleeve says 3'65"!) Stranger still, my vinyl recording of this edit actually plays out to 4'50".
So I sometimes think, circa 1985, this is a little joke perpetuated perhaps by Maurizio Dami [Alexander Robotnick], or the man behind the mix, Bruce Forest.
3'65" lives on, even on Discogs! ;-)
