Edited 19 years agoIn 1999 Ferry Corsten teamed up with Vincent de Moor for the project ‘Veracocha’. During their collaboration they produced 2 tracks together: ‘Carte Blanche’ and ‘Drafting’. The track ‘Carte Blanche’ was released as A-side and ‘Drafting’ became the B-side of the vinyl release. The track became a huge success in the dance scene and it got massive from a lot famous DJ’s around the world.
According to Ferry himself, Vincent and Ferry had a bit of a problem to get inspiration for the main melody of the track. When they decided to take a short break in the studio, Ferry was playing a bit with the synthesizer and on a sudden moment he played the whole melody at once! Vincent said: “Wooow! Can you do that again!” and then the melody with the famous riff part, was born!
