Not everybody’s favorite Low album, but this pressing is extremely dynamic and really got me to appreciate it more. It’s certainly a different style from most of their records, but has many incredible moments on it. I think when Low’s discography is looked back on, this album will be increasingly forgotten as a transitional record between their typical slowcore and electronic eras. I hope not, because that’s an unfair assessment of this album which I also deem to be excellent. Buy the record and maybe your opinion will change as well.
