The loopy acid sound present on Resonance gives me an uncanny sense of déjà vu. It reminds me like it's from an early Chicago acid house track. Something on Rockin' House or similar label or roster of artiists. -
It was around mid 1993 that I first heard the 'Panic In Detroit' compilation on Buzz, which included a wonderful piece by a duo I had never heard before - John Beltran and Mark Wilson. Some time after, I found out they had released a 12" named Aquatic in 1991, on a obscure label named Retroactive (which later acquired a cult status by the Techno heads). 'Aquatic' brought out underwater deepness and intensity, at the same time dancefloor driven, a sort of a foreshadow of a new era.
