Edited 7 years agoIgnore the poorly researched review for this record over at allmusic.com where it seems sales determine an albums quality, Noiseworks' 1988 sophomore release Touch actually stepped away from the gloss pop and keyboard laden SelfTitled Noiseworks debut, instead favouring acoustics, a more dusty and down to earth AusRock sound popular at the time with TheAngels (Howling) Jim Barnes and Midnight Oil. Touch was a stellar Aus Rock record on which some of the deeper album tracks outclassed the singles, the beautiful Home, hard rocking Keep Me Running and the absolutely magnificent Live And Die prime examples. An album stacked with great songs and performances, Touch is certainly worth exploring and is still highly recommended even after all these years \m/
