So… can you get a copy of Slacker’s Fusion anywhere? … other than an acetate. They’re about as much use as a piece of burnt wood lol - ain’t getting my fingers burnt again buying an acetate

Pob's 'Waah!' is superb and reminiscent of their excellent 'Fly' - https://www.discogs.sitioby.com/release/58065-Pob-Featuring-DJ-Patrick-Reid-Bluebottle-Fly.

Edited 3 years agoAwesome if you can find a copy not damaged by the pvc sleeve it came in. I have 3 copies which all have 2 sides that got pvc vapor damage. Unfortunately for me all my copies happened to be stored the same way and every copy had the same sides damaged :) what are are those chances. Anyways buyer beware. Seller will list as records have have/mist or some sort of staining. Depending on how bad the damage is it can sound like a well worn record or be overpowered by static type white noise from the etching of the surface. My 3rd copy came from another source while my first 2 I bought when it came out.

On the double LP (genuinely a compilation btw, and not mixed, in case you wondered as I momentarily did) A1 is labelled up as "Put Your Earphones On" but is actually "Philter" (the "b side" of Put Your Earphones On)
Cracking collection of tunes, well worth grabbing! -
Masterpiece indeed my second full copy (I have the cd v plus one record of yet another.
Favourite record of this type of music with GU Urguay,Amsterdam and London.
Sebs Prototype is under appreciated too. 4 disc 2 has a whopper to finish. -

In my opinion "Communicate" was -by far- the best 2000 dance compilation. 10 years after and everytime i listen to it, the feeling is exactly the same: Ecstatic! Especially on Cd2 (The Blue Hour, Voices, Once More, Ruhe). Of course there's no need to talk about the mixes... all the mixes are completely flawless. This album together with Yoshiesque, Bedrock (Digweed), Bedrock (Van M - CD2), GU 009 (CD2) & 013 are nothing more or less than the top class progressive albums of the late '90s - early '00s. "Put Your Earphones On" and enjoy!
