Found a sealed copy; flat, super quiet, and centered. Much like other legendary titles from early 4AD, this pressing does not disappoint. The mastering is sublime; never loses an ounce of detail regardless of how much listenable power is applied. Each guitar is easily recognizable, Narcizo's totally genre defining drumming hits the chest, and the step sisters' vocals soar with impressive detail.
Must own foundational alt rock lp. Agreed w/others...repress 'The Real Ramona' now & get the og Muses back in the zeitgeist.

Edited 8 months agoCompletely lucked out today, found a lovely copy in thrift/charity shop here in Scotland for 5 pounds…there are still dream bargains to be had out there though nowhere near as many as the golden years of digging of course. Just got to get to those more obscure places and wade through the nonsense then something like this appears.

Like Bobobellsinger, this is very high on my wishlist for a vinyl reissue. It's definitely in my top 5 favorite albums that I don't have on vinyl yet (but don't want to spend $100 to import it from Europe). While I'm dreaming - if you have the rights and reissue it, I would pay extra for a 45 RPM version. Let's manifest this into reality.

"Nice" album with a typical 90s style and some good tracks like 'Counting' and 'not too soon'.
..but even one or two tracks not really good enough for a LP I think..but HEY! You maybe love em all?
