Wow what a great pressing. Best pressing of this iconic album. None come close to my ears.

Late to the party but wow. Yep, worth it. I've got the mofi one step and can also compare to overlapping songs on greatest hits mastered by CB. This one is warmer and more engaging and it's a 33rpm which is great. It's become my go-to. I do like the mofi too, it gives the impression of a bit more detail but can be shrill-sounding at times. Still quite impressive and not a bad cut. Greatest hits is a step down overall but undeniably the best bang for your buck.

Great sound, great mastering… the best version for me..because the sound is warm and overall more balanced than other versions i know. Recommended! -
Edited 3 years agoI love this specific reissue. For me the best of the best around so far. Mostly certainly DCC‘s masterpiece and a must-have in any audiophile Eagles and/or DCC collection.

Edited 4 years agoI have listened to a lot of the DCC releases and owned a handful. While they all sound excellent, this is the best one that I've heard. I'm not sure why I don't hear much talk on this release... it's a stunning achievement. Probably as much credit should be given to the recording itself... but there's a little more depth and lows here than on the original Monarch pressings. Last Resort in particularly jumps out to me and sounds flawless.
Love my copy and I wouldn't sell it even at these extravagant prices. -
