Perhaps one of the most underrated Brazilian musicians. He brought American Soul & Funk to Brazil after living in New York for five years and no one else, up to today, was able to replicate or continue in his shoes, he set the high bar high. Nobody Can Live Forever (The Existential Soul Of Tim Maia) is a great introduction to his music.

This record continues to distinguish itself as one of the best in my collection. So fun!

I was listening to streaming when "O Caminho Do Bem” came on and I was like, “what is this?” I pulled up the album and started listening to the rest of it. I ordered this album the same day! Great stuff!

Agree with the comments here re quality of sound packaging etc. This was my introduction to Maia, was so impressed I went on to his solo LPs from early 1970s and disco record from 1978. Racional cult period music was amazing but records completely unaffordable so have to be content with this comp and Spotify

This is a testament to Tim's best and most intriguing phase (Racional) along with some of his best English lyrics. "Over Again" is insanely good! One of the best compilations out there.

There is hardly anything not worthwhile on this album. Song after song is so enjoyable.

A compilation, that is laden with so much psychedelic, funky goodness. My only criticism would have to be that the picture on the front cover does make Tim Maia look somewhat like a chubby clown. So much so, that my mam's hunky toyboy (Gavin)'s 5-year old son (from another relationship) "Tristram" always refers to this record, as "the fat Ronald McDonald album"!!

masterfully pressed and beyond groovy. If you love Brazilian music or are interested, give this Funk / Soul/ Jazz artist, Tim Mai a look. Highly recommend!

Do you know how does this compilation sound on vinyl? Thanks in advance.
