bit compared with Michael Jackson - Bad via foobar2000. the Matrix on my copy is 'DIDP-10645 21A3 +++++'
exactly the same audio. you can find the original mix of this album without spending extra for this japanese cd if u look hard enough, i don't know exactly what cds have and don't have it, but my one does!!
this japanese cd is a surefire way to get this mix if you dont want to risk getting a cd with different mixes however -
This Is The Best CD Of Bad I've Ever Heard. All The Details Pop Out In The Mix With Such Clarity, You Truely Do Hear More Layers To The Music Here Then You Do On Any Of The Shitty Remasters That Have Come Out Over The Past 20 Years Or So Where Everything Is So Compressed And Lifeless. The Stereo Separation On This CD Is Utterly Gorgeous And Is A Testament To The Genius Of Arguably The Greatest Recording / Mixing Engineer To Ever Live, The Great Bruce Sweden. The First Pressings Of Bad That Came Out At The End Of August Of 1987 All Feature The Original Mixes With The Unique Stereo Effects On Some Songs That Are Gone On Later Pressings Where They Replace The Singles Taken Off The Album With Their Less Sonically Interesting Single Mixes That Take Out A Lot Of The Magic Of The Originals As Well As Removing Some Of The Unique Stereo Effects Off Of Most Other Songs. These Original CDs Also Allow You To Hear A Good Deal More Of The Sophisticated Backing Tracks That Are Buried By The Main Meat And Potatoes Of The Songs Such As Some Of The Electric Guitar Counterpoint That Is Present On Liberian Girl Or MJ's Scat Singing Alongside The Percussion On Speed Demon And The Great Live Backing Band Dynamics On Just Good Friends And Man In The Mirror. -
Amazing CD. Audio quality is outstanding. Not to mention all the songs are the original mixes. Worth every penny. -
