They should have discarded 'Cutaway' altogether - it's a long incoherent piece made up of unrelated leftovers arbitrarily spliced together, pretentious and time wasting, a blot on the CAN landscape. -
Unless there's a recent reissue that restores the original 2LP as it should be, this is the closest you can get to the full classic Unlimited Edition. Why? Well, many of you may not know this, but the SACD had 2 big chunks cut out of Cutaway! Did they really think we'd not notice? I think there were some other little differences too. By the way, even this CD has some differences to what you may know from the vinyl. That's because this mix is the German Harvest 2LP version, a couple of tracks differ very slightly from the Virgin issue!
