Sûrement l un des meilleurs Megamix crée avec House Party 10 mixé un an avant . Intro au top ,mixe au top .Les années 90 sont pour moi les plus belle année de la techno en tout genre.Je recommande vivement !!

One of the greatest Hardcore megamix i agree but yes it was digitaly mixed . There were other similar examples back then .
Listen to House Party 8 "The Hardcore Edition , House Party 10 and House Party 12 they were all mixed with the same digital materials ( hence the so called different DJ's that were mixing , somewhat obvious )
There is another megamix with the same stuff is Serious Beats Mastermix '94 Part 1 Mission Thunderstorm .
The only megamix that is unique was House Party 6 because there it was the fahrwell of an era House, Acid, New Beat, Rave and the beginning of the Hardcore/Gabber .
Other great megamixes such as - Turn up the Bass 1990 megamix - Turn up the Bass 1991 megamix - House Party 1,2,3,4,5,7,9,11 - The later on Terrordrome 1,2&3 megamix CD ( Dutch Hardcore from Mokum ) and the Terrordrome 7,9 megamix CD ( German Hardcore/Speedcore from Nordcore GMBH ) .
All in all this Thunderdome 1-5 megamix is worth to listen and own in your collection ( not so sweet, cute and angelic like the cover seem to show lol ) -
one of the best megamix cd's on this planet
here is introduction speech :)
For all you newborn Hardcore fans,
this is what you miss so far.
The Thunderdome Megamix, from then until now and even blasting into the future,
the beast of Thunderdome.
The angel of thunder.
will demolish your nervs and boil blood.
ONLY THE STRONG ONES WILL SURVIVE,
SO ALL YOU SOFTIES GET OUT OF THE WAY!!!
This Megamix master is gonna burst your eardrums and change your LIFE.
The angel of thunder is gonna take you back to the primeval birth of Hardcore
back to the days when the new born Hardcore Creature lose the slime that Terrorfied your world.
Now it's to late, it's Mayday, Mayday, Theyday!

Edited 17 years agoBack in the day when my friend and i took this home, we couldnt believe the amount of songs that were on it. Every song is a classic and part of my collection (bar few).
The problem with this album is that every song is too good, that is why it seems to drag on a bit, there are no troughs just constant peaks. Apart from the interludes.
HR and Reyes were and have achieved the best megamix of every top tune that was ever made. It is too neat but this is because they probably had all these little mixes but couldnt get them together the way they wanted (some songs are only on for 20 secs) virtually impossible no matter how good you are on the decks.
This CD is one of the best around, although you cannot beat a live mix from a DJ/PA there is no denying that this is the way these songs were meant to be put together.
Human Resource are very tidy and i have a few more cassettes with them on it which are all exactly the same. This is just the way these people are and that is why they are so good at both mixing and producing. They were using basic technology and creating stuff like this when everyone around them was struggling with a set of 1210s.

Edited 19 years agoThis one is really the best... probably the best Thunderdome to date. I am glad they did not mix this one live... Brutally speeded up in many tracks, it chatches the oldskool feeling perfectly, while giving it the brutal sound of Hardcore. Fast, oldskool, energy concentrate... This is the meaning of Rave unto itself... a Hardcore classic, that compilations like House Party 10 tried to copy... they *almost* did it! But this is the original. Many people got into Hardcore by this particular CD with such a nice, sweet, cover... :P
You'll hear some of the finest old hardcore ever, but blended and mixed in a way no one had done until then... in the end of the album, it's plain Speedcore constructed from Oldskool material. Layers and layers of sound prove this was a digital mix, yet a nice one... not too smooth, but not too rough. The beats are from each track (unlike what was said) from each track, and yet they blend ok.
As for the intro, "midtro" and outro... no comments!... too good to be true!
This one is the return to the source of Hardcore... a lesson from the past into the future...
"... and even blasting into the future!"

Edited 20 years agoAll in all this is a relatively fun cd with a great trackselection if you're into hardcore, but it looses lots of its potential because of the way it was mixed. Like it was already mentioned track riffs are layered and mixed over the same kick throughout the mix. The kick (a classic Human Resource one) is great, but it doesn't blend well with some riffs (throws off the track balance and makes the track sound weird) and no matter how great it is, it surely gets boring waaay before the end of the mix. Some tracks are also sped up too much and again sound weird. What's most disturbing is that although this is obviously an offline mix, digitally edited, some mixes are surprisingly not all that smooth.
If you want to hear what this cd could and should sound like get yourself "House Party 10 - The Hardcore Mix". A similar mix concept, with a similar tracklist and even a similar intro, middle chill & outro, but done the way it's supposed to be done.

Edited 5 years agoI felt a bit cheated when I listen to this CD. MOst of the tracks on here don't bear much resemblance to the originals in sound and structure. In almost every case the keyboards, samples, melodies etc of the original tracks have been layered of the same kick drum right the way through. This mix was very obviously digitally mixed and edited and is much too clinical and polished for my liking.

Gabber at its heaviest & finest. Mixed by the legends Human Resource & DJ Reyes. Every track takes you to the point in time as Old Skool, & the rave era in general began splitting into sub genres. Feel the Rotterdam & Amsterdam influence of this well produced mix with some special Thinderdome remixes included. feel the bass!
