This is one of the best Gang Start ever. I was surprised how food it sounds. Even 'Step In The Arena' album before has many tracks on 1 album but sounds also very good for that. Sometimes there are albums that sound great even if there are many tracks on it. Then there are bad quality double LP's
There was a time l hated an one vinyl Lp. My point of view has changed. There are many
good pressings from the older days. Bit this album here is m the cherry on top in 2 well made vinyls!! -
Edited 9 years agoOne of the most underrated Hip Hop albums ever. In my opinion this is as close as you can get to a perfect Hip Hop album. Raw, pure, definition of real New York rap. DJ Premier at and Guru both at the peak of their respective games. Track after track of perfectly constructed minimalist sample-driven boom bap perfection. Definitely in my top 5 Hip Hop albums of all time.
