Very good pressing. Sounds superb on a good system. Given how cheap this can be bought for (easily under $50), I recommend it highly.

Edited one year agoA rather mixed bag. First of all: Even after a thorough manual rinse with the “Knosti Goathair Machine” and afterwards a 20 minute ultrasound sound cleansing there is still numerous pops and clicks on this supposedly high quality pressing. Secondly: Please see my notes to each track below (I compared with the US 1st press);
A1 Bridge Over Troubled Water
The drum that “chrashes” so powerfully on the US 1st press, is strangely muffled and subdued. The vocal part of Art is slightly more restrained.
A2 El Condor Pasa
Very precise sound. Less dynamic.
A3 Cecilia
Very precise and dynamic. Really good listening experience especially the “stomping drive”. Best sounding track on A side.
A4 Keep The Customer Satisfied
Less dynamic. Trumpet solo at the end is less powerful.
A5 So Long, Frank Lloyd Wright
Precise sounding, almost sterile, lacks “life”
B1 The Boxer
Dynamic and powerful although the horns at the ending are not as strong. The almost physical presence is missing.
B2 Baby Driver
Sounds great but is less “lively” during the fast chord changes “what’s my number..”
B3 The Only Living Boy In New York
Precise sounding Paul vocal, t choir is not as strong in its presence. More subdued and Slightly lacking the dynamics of the US 1st press. Not bad sounding at all. Just not as good.
B4 Why Don't You Write Me
Precise and strong. Best sounding track on side B. The harmonica is lively and sounds so “live”. A real treat.
B5 Bye Bye Love
Vocals are clear, guitars (electric) are muffled. The clapping of the audience is louder.
B6 Song For The Asking
Sounds fantastic. Period

I've listened to this album for a number of years now on various different formats. first on Spotify, then an original UK pressing and now this. And it's tough for me to say, but this is the best version I have heard. It fills the room, so much more breathing room. It's all so clear. I would 100% recommend this without question. It's like listening to the album for the first time again!

This pressing sounds incredible! Great soundstage, depth and warmth. Quiet vinyl, so glad I found this!
