Twigt572 "The whole cassette single ''The Tortoise And The Hare'' is original on CD:"
No. It hasn't been released on CD as a whole. You yourself link to a . That is correct. It is available since 2021 on only. That was the basic point of my review, why miss the perfect opportunity to release the Cassingle on vinyl when they almost did it anyway, they just basically disturbed the flow / transition of the whole track. Quite irritating and unnecessary.

Edited 22 days agoCertainly one the better pressings out of GZ. Vinyl is quiet and the mastering is superb. Needs a really good clean - record covered in dust / paper flecks, but once cleaned plays fine. AON / ZTT & Horn at their best.

Edited 19 days agoThe Tortoise is still undefeated >> The Tortoise And The Hare (Featuring Moments In Love Beatbox And LoveBeat). Sadly, the lost opportunity prevail. B2 here is the first two parts of the cassette single, "The Tortoise: Moments In Love followed by (beaten)". Then the lovely LoveBeat does follow, renamed B4 Moments In Love (Hare) but the magic transition has been thwarted here by the intrusive B3 Falling In Love. After B4 the (unnamed) spoken word from the Cassette does follow, named here as B5 Love Is Getting Ready. Instead of the original ensuing Beat Box (Diversion Ten), we get B6 More Than (Moments In Love). Had this been a CD, some programming could be made, but the Cassette single just had to be butchered by non-loving curators stealing the Moment.
Why on Earth wasn't the perfect and full Cassette version placed on the entire B side (without Love Is Being Stupid Together)? Beatbox could have been omitted if it was deemed too brutal, I guess, but this is practically a criminal curation.
With due respect to the individual tracks/pieces themselves, but this release has no flow and is too choppy and haphazardly assembled to be fully enjoyed, the B side still being better than the A side. To quote the cassette:

Nice packaging and of course the music is sublime. I've loved Moments in Love since I was a kid, and bought the other RSD release a couple of years ago. This is really good - you will hear subtle tweaks on the versions you've heard already, but it's long so nice to sit back and let it wash over you. The pressing is very good and dynamic, with good bass.
